About Camino Mente

I am Joanna, a psychologist, psychodietitian, and certified psychotherapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from SWPS in Warsaw, where I also completed postgraduate studies in Psychodietetics. Additionally, I trained in ACT at Azure Therapy in Warsaw and in CBT at the ACT Counselling Centre in Glasgow.

With years of private practice experience and an internship at Kilmarnock Station Community Centre, I have worked with individuals facing anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, phobias, weight-related issues, low self-esteem, and behavioral addictions. My approach is empathetic, client-centered, and evidence-based, combining psychological techniques with a holistic perspective to foster long-term well-being.

I am passionate about helping clients develop emotional resilience, self-acceptance, and effective coping strategies to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
